This is the Portrait session of Joana June ahead of the release of her debut novel, which will be published in August 2025 by Pola Verlag (Bastei Lübbe). It was shot on film and digital, aiming to create images that reflect not only her personality but also the tone and spirit of her book. I always enjoy photographing people, diving into their world, and capturing a glimpse of who they are through the lens.
